Weak Wills and Hard Choices

Most of us procrastinate. Actually, probably all of us procrastinate at least some of the time and because of this a lot of us have thought about why it is that we do so. The theory of procrastination – and indeed of human behavior in general – that Read and Roelofsma put forth in their article “Hard choices and weak wills: The theory of intrapersonal dilemmas” draws on models from economics as well as psychology and philosophy to help the reader understand why we act the way that we do.
