A Comparative Analysis of Susan Porter Benson's The Cinderella of Occupations
This paper is a comparative analysis of two perspectives on women's labor in early 20th Century America. The paper contrasts the methods used in these analyses (quantitative, and qualitative case study) and compares the assessments provided by each text. In discussing the key issues of women's labor in the beginning of the 20th century, the author of this paper concludes that the different methodological approaches are helpful for developing a broader perspective of an issue. 8 pgs. 2 sources.
