Urbanism and the Experience of Urban Built Environments within the Lesbian Community of Greater Vancouver
The community I am examining is the lesbian community of Greater Vancouver. This comprises women of all ages, ethnicities, cultures, income levels, etc., bound together only by the common denominator of their sexuality. Some are Vancouver-born; others come from all over the country and the world. Many come from rural areas or from smaller cities to join the lesbian community typically found in large Western cities such as Vancouver.
