Rosie the Riveter

This twelve page paper looks at Rosie the Riveter, a Second World War propaganda regime to bring women into working for the United States during the Second War whilst the men were at the front. The paper discusses the idea and concept of Rosie and how women worked with the factories, how they were treated and what problems they faced against those men that were left behind. The paper also looks at how they were treated when the war ended and they were forced to give up their jobs in favour of the men returning from the army.
