Perfume Experiment

However the properly trained scientific mind does not simply dismiss a theory because it seems outlandish (or because it seems only to exist to make money for a company). Therefore I determined to test such claims by seeing if the scent of musk-based perfumes was more likely to attract attention from a stranger than was a citrus-based or floral scent. To test this hypothesis, I purchased a small bottle of Soft Musk (by Avon) and Bigelow’s Lily of the Valley (a highly floral scent) and got a free sample of One by Calvin Klein! (a citrus-based scent).
