Opposing Gay Marriages

“Until relatively recently, people could pretty much take for granted that when they talked about ‘marriage,’ they were talking about a relationship – a sexual union – between a man and a woman” (Sekulow and Tuskey 309). Should this be changed? What reasons are there for changing what mankind has known from its early history to the present? Most people will agree that homosexuality is a choice, so the laws about discrimination should not be affected. Homosexuality is a choice, therefore it is not about discrimination due to race, gender, or disability; legislation states that marriage is between a man and a woman, gay marriages is against the normal concept of marriage and family life.
