Differences between Married and Unmarried Women.

It should come as no surprise that single women, whether they are unmarried, divorced, or widowed, live different lives than women who are married. Different, however, does not mean better or worse. Statistics demonstrate that women who are married live a longer average life than women who are not. Women who are married tend to have children earlier and more frequently than women who are not. Women who are married have traditionally held fewer jobs than women who are not. But, these are simply numbers and statistics. There are tangible differences between married and not-married women. It is this very set of differences which prompts this paper. It is the purpose, then, of this research paper to examine the differences in health, sexuality, longevity, lifestyle, employment and other factors between the lives of single women and married women. 12-pages, bibliography lists 19 sources.
