A Media and Television Analysis: A History and Examination of Reality TV in An American Family, Survivor and The Sopranos
This paper will seek to understand how modern reality TV shows relate a problematic humanizing of murder, violence and intrigue, which are created by large corporate enterprise. By analyzing the shows: An American Family, Survivor and The Sopranos, we can see how violence and other 'reality' based TV is highly regulated and offers very little 'reality' in its filming and corporate production.
