Wage-Earners in the Steel Sector: Deindustrialization and the Collapse of Community.
Summary: This essay will explore the experiences of wage-earners in the steel worker occupational group in Canada over the past half century. In the course of this work, interviews with three steel workers will be integrated with scholarly research to explore the changing nature of work in this industrial sector in recent decades.
