This paper is on VMOS, the Visteon Manufacturing Operating System, and the Visteon company, which was spun off from the Ford Motor Company and which today is today now the major supplier of certain automotive systems in the world, operating using the system it developed in 130 plants around the world, with a strong financial base but with lower revenues than desired at the present time.
