This paper is an analysis of Simplicius Simplicissimus. The stages of development as a person will be discussed as well as SimpliciusÂ’ journey through life. The purpose of his journey is examined and the historical setting of the novel will be included in the analysis. The relationship between soldiers and peasants will also be examined. The authorÂ’s style will be examined as well.
