The Secret of Making Things Easy to Remember.

This paper examines the tricks to improve memory and why people forget things. It is highly source reliant, but an excellent guide to understanding the memory process. Some people spend their entire lives in frustration. Where did they leave their keys? What was that telephone number? Did I have an appointment with the dentist today, or was it last week? What is that man's name again? It seems that we all want to have perfect memories, but often we fall short of the goal, look foolish and wonder if there is any secret mechanism to remember the date the telephone bill is due. Yes, there is. One is using effective listening techniques to be certain that the mind really hears what it should remember. Two, numerous techniques exist to improve the frail human memory and reinforce what is heard and help categorize the multitudes of inputs that enter the mind each day and make them easier to retrieve from the most intricate computer system in the universe: the human mind.
