Summary: This paper will examine genetic factors of breast cancer. The current research being done in this area along with current finds regarding single genes that have been isolated and thought to be involved with the onset of the disease will be examined as well. The genetic basis of cancer and the onset of breast cancer due to genetic influences will be included in the discussion.
