There are 933 flight schools in the United States, ranging from private facilities mostly located at airports to complete two- and four-year programs at some of the nation's colleges and universities. In addition, I will touch on the area of minority recruitment and the presence of minorities and women in commercial aviation. 11 pgs. Bibliography lists 20 sources.
