This paper encompasses a discussion of Sallust's "Jugurthine War". More specifically the paper address Roman view of the enemy as can be perceived from the work. An analysis is provided that gives reasons why the Roman's insights on the enemy are apparent as well as an analysis of why Rome may have felt that way about the enemy.
