This 13-page paper presents a discussion about the jewelry of ancient Egypt when King Tut reigned. It was during the new Kingdom when building was booming and there were many successful discoveries coming form the era. The author of this paper takes us on an exploratory journey in which we discover how important jewelry was to the inhabitants of that time frame. The author explores the era as well as the meaning of many pieces of jewelry. Often times the jewelry symbolized the meaning of life for them. In addition the author digs into the various metals and what those metals represented to the rich and the poor alike. As the wealthy were buried in their tombs they often took pieces of jewelry with them so that the robbers would be happy and not harm the bodies, which they felt, they would need in the next life. 13 pgs.
